Open Events

Amery Hill School is a thriving and welcoming learning community and we are incredibly proud to serve the town of Alton and its surrounding villages.

Choosing a secondary school for your child is an important decision and to help you and your child experience what is on offer at Amery Hill, we run a number of Open Events throughout the school year in the summer and autumn terms when you can come and take a look at our learning environment, meet our students and teachers and understand how we provide all of our students with an ‘Education for Life’.

Open Events for 2025 will be taking place as follows. We look forward to welcoming prospective parents and students to the exceptional learning community that exists at Amery Hill School.

Summer Term 2025

Open Mornings – Tuesday 24 and Wednesday 25 June & Tuesday 1 and Wednesday 2 July, 9:00-10:30am.

Our Open Mornings in the summer term coincide with our Year 5 Taster Days, which are organised directly with our local primary schools. Parents/carers are welcome to come along and meet our Senior Leader Team and have a tour of the school on any of these days. Out of catchment Year 5 pupils, or those pupils whose school has not arranged a Taster Day directly with us, are welcome to sign up on Wednesday 3 July. More details will be released in due course.
